Character information.
• Character name:Aegon Targaryen Jon Snow
• Canon: Game of Thrones
• Canon point: 7x05 "Eastwatch"
• Age: 23
• Canon background: Here
• OC world information:
• Abilities: Since he was raised in one of the great Houses of Westeros, and then joined the Night Watch, he is skilled at hand-to-hand combat, especially with a sword, and a skilled horseback rider. He also knows something of military strategy.
• Strengths: Moral compass: Since he was raised by Ned Stark, away from all the machinations of court in King's Landing, he inherited Ned's strong moral compass. He'll do what's necessary because it's necessary, but that doesn't mean he enjoys it. He puts the good of the whole above what's best for him, as evidenced when he risks his life on a dangerous plan in the hope of being able to stop an army that threatened everyone in Westeros. He does what he feels is right, and he's never cruel just because he can be.
Loyal and protective: Once he has sworn his loyalty to someone, that loyalty is absolute, unless that loyalty conflicts with something to which he has a greater loyalty. He swore fealty to Daenerys, but when he realized that she was a threat to all of the lands beyond Westeros, his loyalty to all of the people who would be affected by continued wars caused him to break his loyalty to Daenerys and deal with the threat. This is also because he fights to protect those who need it, such as those who can't fight for themselves. This extends to those considered outcasts by their society, which he himself has been his whole life due to being (supposedly) an illegitimate child.
Leadership skills: He has a demonstrated ability to get others to follow him, even when that's not what he set out to do. He became the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch at a young age after a relatively brief time of service, elected to the position after helping to defend Castle Black against an attack. Northmen named him King in the North after he helped regain control of the region. In neither case did he put himself forward for this; it was others who wanted to see him in a leadership role.
• Weaknesses: Stubborn: He sometimes has a hard time following advice. There are ways that he thinks things should be done, or ways he wants to do them, and he doesn't tend to take the advice of someone who suggests it should be done differently. Sometimes he turns out to be right, and sometimes he doesn't.
Honest to a fault: He's bad at lying, and can't do it even when obscuring the truth would be better, such as when attempting to gain allies. Because of his unflinching honesty, he can't usually see treachery in someone else until it's too late. At least until it kills him, at which point he does become more wary, but no less honest.
Court strategy: He's learned battle/military strategy, but political strategy is beyond him. He doesn't know how to navigate the world of nobility because while he was raised among them, he had little prospect of ever being one himself and his education would not have focused on how to navigate the world of diplomacy, and his skills in that area are lacking.
• Nightmares: Wights/White Walkers: reanimated corpses with glowing blue eyes, which are nearly impossible to defeat, and led by the Night King
Death: specifically his, at the hands of his mutinous brothers in the Night's Watch
